Why HDS

Responsible waste removal, handled by people who answer the phone.

For 34 years, industrial operators across the West have called us for one reason: when someone asks about a drum from three years ago, the answer is already on file. We profile the waste, prepare the manifest, route the transport, and close the documentation. You run your operation. We manage the waste stream and the paperwork behind it.

01

One point of contact, every call

A named Project Manager from quote through final disposition. The same person who profiled your first drum is still picking up the phone fifteen years later. Institutional memory is part of the service.

02

The whole market, not one owned facility

National conglomerates route to the disposal sites they own, whether or not those sites are the right fit or the right price for your stream. We don't own any, so we broker the whole market and place each stream where it actually belongs.

03

Cradle-to-grave documentation

Every manifest, every certificate of destruction, indexed and retrievable. If a regulator or DA office follows up two years later, the paper trail closes cleanly. That's the deliverable.

The Problem

Hazardous waste looks like a logistics problem.
It is a liability problem.

Every drum that leaves your facility carries your name on the manifest. A missed labeling requirement, a transporter without current DTSC registration, a profile that doesn't match the actual contents. These are the things that turn a routine pickup into an EPA enforcement file.

We've spent 34 years making sure the paperwork holds up when someone asks about it years later.

As a broker, we're not chained to one disposal facility or one transport line. We route your waste through the right facility at the right price, then we own the paperwork from cradle to grave. The manifest stays in your name, because the law requires it and no vendor can take that from you. What we take on is the work of getting every step of it right.

Specialty Practice

Closing 5 stores. Or 200.
We handle the hazardous piece.

Regional chain liquidations, beauty & cosmetics rollouts, big-box closures, end-of-lease cleanouts, and small multi-site projects, all coordinated across CA, AZ, NV, OR, NM, and West Texas from a single point of contact.

01

Right-Sized Coordination

Whether it's 4 stores or 200, one phone call covers the project. Manifests consolidated by retailer, not by store. Documentation in the format your finance team expects.

02

Cosmetics, Aerosols & Beauty Inventory

Nail polish, hairspray, fragrances, expired cosmetic stock, cleaning products. The categories that make a retail liquidator's compliance officer nervous. We profile them, route them, close the manifest.

03

Brand Protection

Retail closures attract regulatory attention. We handle pickups discreetly and close a complete cradle-to-grave documentation trail, so if anyone asks about a disposed stream three years from now, the answer is already on file.

04

Tight Timelines

Liquidation calendars don't move. We build the pickup schedule around your lease-handover dates, including weekend routing and parallel pickups where the waste stream and facility approvals allow.

Closure Window?

Response typically the same business day. Pricing follows once we know the streams and the sites. A new customer or a new waste profile needs facility approval first, which typically puts mobilization two to three weeks out. Call (800) 662-4374 with your store count and target dates.

How It Works

Four steps. One point of contact. Zero open loops.

1

Call or Quote

Tell us what you've got and where you've got it. We typically come back the same business day. Pricing follows once we know what we're dealing with, which for most streams means the profile step below.

2

Profile & Approval

We characterize the waste and submit the profile to the receiving facility. An established stream with an approved profile runs about a week end to end. A new customer or a new stream typically takes two to three weeks, because the facility has to approve the profile first. Then the manifest is generated and pickup is scheduled with a DTSC-registered transporter.

3

Removal & Transport

Drums labeled, loaded, and routed to the appropriate facility. You get a copy of every signed document.

4

Final Disposition

You receive the certificate of destruction or final disposition documentation. The compliance loop closes.
